Mike Casey, a young, ambitious entrepreneur, has opened the new Kansas City location of Great Day Moving that serves both Jackson and Cass counties. In April 2011, Mike completed franchise training and began moving operations in May. Great Day Moving offers residential and commercial moving services with a focus on customer satisfaction and accountability.

Mike’s entrepreneurial mindset and over 5 years of experience in the furniture delivery and moving industry led him to start his own moving company through the Great Day Moving franchise model. “Great Day Moving, formerly Marathon Moving and Delivery, is known for setting the standard in excellent customer service and creating a positive moving experience for customers. Great Day Moving has an established support center to handle incoming calls and scheduling for all franchisees, as well as an intranet based system which provides live information to franchisees. The support center and automated system allows each franchisee to focus their efforts on providing the best service possible to each customer, instead of drowning in scheduling and paperwork.
