Great Day Moving, a local Kansas City, moving franchise system launched in early 2011, announces its expansion to the state Capitol of Topeka, Kansas.

This month, Great Day Moving began operations in the Topeka area as an extension of the Johnson County operation. Neil Gunsalus III, manager of the Topeka moving team, is enthusiastic to learn and prove his commitment to the Great Day Moving level of excellence. His incredible business background includes ownership and operations of several successful service-based businesses which include professional window cleaning and auto detailing companies.

Although he is now in management, Gunsalus had to master the same rigorous training procedures as all franchisees. The process includes proper lifting, packing, and moving protocol and passing the final assessment to ensure his ideals and abilities lined up with company philosophy.

Gunsalus’ goal is to share Great Day Moving’s high standards of customer service and follow-through with the Topeka and Lawrence areas. He is determined to show his clients what accountability and integrity truly look like from professional movers. In addition, Gunsalus will be responsible for marketing and local community involvement.

Great Day Moving provides local moving services to both residential and commercial clients in the Kansas City, Topeka, and Lawrence areas.  The franchise model offers a centralized Support Center that handles incoming calls and scheduling for all locations. The Support Center and automated systems allow each franchisee or manager to focus their efforts to give the best service possible to each client during their relocation.
