Neil Gunsalus III is a definite asset to the Great Day Moving team. He has worked his way up through the ranks since he was hired as a professional mover. With his willingness to learn and enthusiastic approach to any situation, Neil has definitely proven his commitment to the Great Day Moving level of excellence. He now acts in the capacity of both Marketing Manager of the Kansas City metro area and Operations Manager of the Topeka/Lawrence team.
Neil’s goal is to share Great Day Moving’s high standards of customer service and follow-through in all aspects of his duties. He’s always determined to show clients what accountability and integrity truly look like in the local moving arena.
His background is far-reaching. He graduated with an Associate degree from Indian River Community College and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida. He also spent 6 months after college at the International House of Prayer (IHOPKC) in Kansas City, Missouri. His business background includes ownership and operation of several successful service-based businesses which include professional window cleaning and auto detailing companies.

What is your favorite sport? Tennis & Beach Volleyball
What is your favorite food? Meat. Especially the candy of meat, bacon.
Where are you from? I was born and raised in the great sunshine state of Florida and moved up to Kansas in 2012 (for those thinking, “Why in the world did you move to Kansas?” send me an email and I’ll tell you the whole story).
What do you like to do in your free time? The number one thing I do in my off time is fellowship with close friends and family. I also play guitar for my local church’s prayer service, and I love to come up with and work through new business ideas.
What did you want to be when you were a kid? I don’t remember ever having a specific vocation in mind while I was growing up. But I do remember wanting to help people, feeding them, providing places to stay. So I guess a “practical” philanthropist.
What is a fact about you that most people don’t know? I love to serve.
What do you want to make sure Great Day Moving clients know about you? That I am committed to making your moving day with us the least stressful and most successful you have ever had. Period.

“I moved to Kansas January 2012 and have loved the transition. Kansas has been on my heart for the past 4 years and I am thrilled to be here. I started with Great Day Moving just after I moved up here as a helper on the back of the truck. Since then I have done everything from folding moving pads to opening new territories. It has been an amazing journey and I am eagerly looking forward to the season ahead.”
