Frequently Asked Questions

Do you finance?
No. We have relationships with a number of lenders and can provide you with their contact information.

Can I choose my own location?
As a Great Day Moving Franchisee, we provide assistance in locating the site(s) for your truck(s).

Can I open a Great Day Moving Franchise in a state that doesn’t already have one?
Yes, we offer our Multi-Unit opportunities in every city, state and zip code throughout the United States.

Do I buy my products from Great Day Moving?
No. However, Great Day Moving does require purchase of approved products. These products are delivered by our approved national distributors.

Can I have more than one Franchise location?
Yes. Multi-Unit opportunities are available. A designated number of franchise units are agreed upon along with a scheduled timeline for unit openings.

What is an ideal territory to establish this business?
We are now living in the age of the retiring baby boomers. Seventy-six million American children were born between 1945 and 1964 representing a cohort that is significant on account of its size alone. This demographic is expected to have non-stop growth for the next 15-20 years. A mix between the older generation and well-populated middle class suburban areas create a fantastic opportunity for the moving industry. A typical territory has a population of 300,000 to 500,000.

What do I get when I buy a Great Day Moving franchise?
When you buy into the Great Day Moving system, you are not only buying a name or system, but purchasing the right to ask any question and receive an answer. The majority of new, independent businesses fail within the first 5 years because they encounter too many problems without enough solutions. The Great Day Moving system provides answers to the many questions of a young entrepreneur.

How much will it cost to open a Great Day Moving Franchise?
Total opening costs vary depending on location and number of trucks. Some areas of the country are also higher due to economics of the area. Typically you can expect to spend between $53,000-$224,400. This figure includes your franchise fee, 3 months working capital, equipment, marketing, and most other expenditures you incur for your location.
